So, in the latest of ridiculous events surrounding this particular company, AAPL is contesting New York City's right to be The Big Apple.

So NYC has adopted an apple shaped logo for its GreeNYC initiave. Apple, Inc. thinks it looks too much like their grey version of the Apple, Inc. logo. Boo-hoo! Check out the images of NYC's logo compared to AAPL's: http://www.macobserver.com/article/2008/04/05.1.shtml
They look nothing alike! Ha! Trademark dilution, my heiny! How long has NYC been "The Big Apple"? Wait, I don't even want to know. Steve Jobs, perhaps your black turtle-neck is choking you, depriving your mind of the oxygen necessary for clear thinking.
Mr. Jobs, I additionally invite you to enjoy life, and wear a summer weight shirt with a retro multi-colored Apple logo. The multi-colored logo was a happy logo, unlike the ominous newer grey one vying for NYC's namesake.
