11-15-2007 Monohull Sailing at the St. Pete Sailing Center
Ideal 18 boat we sailed (the one with the blue sail cover on)
Last weekend, during my scarce free time lately, I went sailing with Sonia on an 18' Ideal boat. This thing is a great boat. It has a cut-out back for when a wave gets over the bow, and a 680 lb. keel which makes is virtually unflippable, though it makes it hard to stop and accelerate. Also slows down its top end significantly. But a nicely crafted, good looking, safe comfortable boat. Here's a pic:
