2-09-2010 The St. Petersburg Times is phone spamming everyone

The number they have been using is (727) 895-1181.  A google search reveals many others are reporting this issue.  Said spammers never leave a message and their human staff are dingy and unprofessional.  The binary staff may be worse.  The telemarketing wing there is obviously desperate for new subscribers.  So, not content to employ half our local population to don fluorescent t-shirts every Sunday to sell dead trees, they now pester us in our private lives.  And I won't even mention the TBT rag they spew.  So, I blocked their calls with Google Voice.  Internet news is great.  Never going back.  Also going to add my GV # to the state do-not-call list.
