3-15-2009 Vetiver Show at the Back Booth in Orlando Sunday 3/22/2009
I bought tickets ($8). Looks interesting.

The venue, the band, and the price converged into something interesting (to me). Vetiver is described as "folk shoegaze rock". It's pretty mellow, ambient stuff, from what I've heard of their recordings. Come join me there. Ticket price is the same as at the door (if you add in the service fee), but I have no idea if it has any possibility of selling out. band's website , Back Booth website, tickets.
3/24/2009 Follow-up: The show was good, but the opening band "Larkin" was probably more entertaining.
